Class Descriptions

All Classes are included with you membership.

Abs & Absetts: A sculpting class focusing on the core muscles including abs, glutes, hip flexors and extensors.

 

Absession: Are you obsessed with your abdominal area? If so, this 15 minute class will strengthen and harden up your mid-section.

 

Down Under: This class offers a modernistic approach by taking group exercise to a new level. Participants are exposed to a variety of new and different ways to improve aerobic and anaerobic conditioning.


Driven: Driven is a progressive 4-week, 2x/week training program.  Every session will bring a different set of challenges, including a full body workout with elements of cardio in each session.   Driven is a specialty program; $65 cost for members.


Flying Dutchmen Ski Conditioning: Conquer the mountain this winter season with pre-season conditioning. This 3x/week progressive training class runs from October through December.  But why stop your conditioning, the season is just beginning therefore after the New Year, the class will continue on Monday's.  To participate in this class you must sign-up as a Flying Dutchmen Member.  Yearly dues are $35.  We have forms available or you can log on to Flying Dutchmen Website.  There is a small fee/month for participating in this specialized class but the benefit will make a difference on the snow.  Click here for more info: Ski Conditioning.


Kick n' Burn / Kickboxing: Whether you like to watch Jackie Chan kick on TV or you possess the skills of a Ninja, this class will kick your butt into shape. This class brings TAE-KWON-DO & Boxing together, as one. You’ll train on bags, mats, and with weights. Bring your MMA/UFC gloves if you have them. Kickboxing class participants MUST have taken the Kick n’ Burn class.


Lunch & Crunch: Experience some of the best and effective exercises for strengthening and firming your abs and core. Using different fitness tools, this 15-30 minute workout is a well-balanced routine that is the perfect addition to your routine.


The Ride & Virtual Ride: This heart pumping indoor cycling workout experience will help boost your outdoor cycling performance or add a new element to your training routine. Become a calorie burning machine with this upbeat and fun workout. The virtual ride is similar but you’ll experience it while riding in front of a 13ft video screen.


Ride & Movie: This class will offer a different full feature film aka movie every week.  As a reminder, you will be on a spin bike for a long time or as long as you like therefore bring a seat cover and/or wear biker shorts for added comfort.  Please refer to our newsletter to find out what movie will be playing.  enjoy the show.  And one more thing, popcorn will not be allowed!

 

Rock n' Rope: Combines high-speed jumprope exercises with strength-training techniques, including jump squats, squat thrusts, mountain climbers, and foot-fires.

 

S.H.R.E.D.: Stations, High-intensity, Resistance, Endurance, Drive.  This class is challenging enough for the advanced weight lifter but also simple enough for the beginner.

 

S.T.A.R.: With Spin, Toning, Abs and Relaxation you get it all just like you deserve. Start with heart-pumping spin followed total body sculpting. Add in some intense abdominal exercises and top it all off with a relaxing stretch segment for a total body workout.


YOGA: This class is a blend styles forming a unique yoga class focused on building strength, increasing flexibility, calming the mind, looking within and enabling you to push past your edges.

 

YogiDance: YogiDance is a fun way for children, who are 3-6 years old, get the exercise they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  In this class children will explore the practice of yoga through dance in a safe and fun environment.  Your child will flourish in this non-competitive class.  This is a "pay-4-class" program.  Please call Down Under at 610-376-0909 for more information.

 

ZUMBA: Zumba is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness program that incorporates Latin and international music. Come on! Ditch the work-out, Join the Party!!!
